How It Works

  • Donate to UJA's Israel Emergency Fund

    Donate at least $36 (for a set of two challahs) directly to UJA’s Israel Emergency Fund through UJA’s website. Please check “This gift is in tribute” and note on the form “In honor of Adina’s Challahs for Israel” and select to notify adinaschallahs@gmail.com.

  • Email Donation Receipt to Adina Before Thursday at Noon. Add a name for tefillot during hafrashat challah.

    Email the donation receipt to Adina (adinaschallahs@gmail.com) before Thursday at noon and specify number of challahs (challah supply is limited each week). If no challah slots are available for the current week, you will be given a choice to pick up your challahs a different week. Feel free to add a name for tefillot during hafrashat challah.

  • Pick Up Challahs

    Pick up the challahs after 10am on Friday at an Upper West Side address provided after emailing the donation receipt to adinaschallahs@gmail.com.

FAQs

  • After emailing the donation receipt and number of challahs requested to Adina, you will be provided with a pick-up address on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for pickup after 10am on Friday.

  • The challahs are baked with kosher-certified ingredients in a kosher household using parve equipment. The baking of the challahs is self-supervised.

  • Yes.

  • Adina tops her challahs with vanilla streusel (crumb topping).
